There is a growing awareness that website is one of the cheapest ways to announce and sell an organization and that is why every organization strives to launch a website for its programme and activities. No wonder the demand for website designers is on the increase by day. This course explores how to create a simple web page with text, colour and graphics. With the use of simple computer software package –Microsoft frontpage, the course teaches the rudiment and basics of website design.
The course aims at teaching the students how to design and launch nice web pages on the net. Students will also learn how to register domain name as well as hosting web pages.
Certificate in Website Design
The course is opened to anyone who has casual interest in website design or sees website design as a career. It is also designed for those who want to make a living through website design.
Four weeks of classroom and practical sessions. Lecture attendance is very flexible as students can choose to attend Morning, afternoon, evening and weekend classes. Assessment shall be made through Practical Assignments and open book exam.
This course is Free for all students irrespective of their status, age, background or nationality. However, students are required to pay a token 125 GBP for the production of their course materials and practical kits.
