Course Description

The information age has made it increasingly important for companies and organizations to require computer hardware technicians. Hence, it becomes imperative for training institutions to meet this insatiable demand by producing well qualified computer hardware technicians. This course explores the technical know-how and fundamentals of computer hardware and software.

Course Objectives

The course exposes students to the components of computer system as well as installation and configuration of computer hardware components. In all, students who successfully completed the course will be able to configure, repair and troubleshoot PC and laptop.

Certificate in computer hardware fundamentals

The course is suitable for anyone involved or desires to be involved in the daily operation, maintenance and support of PC hardware and software. The course is also a great opportunity for individuals who need to learn about maintaining their personal computers system irrespective of their background.

Courses Duration and taught mode

Four weeks of classroom and practical sessions. Lecture attendance is very flexible as students can choose to attend Morning, afternoon, evening and weekend classes. Assessment shall be made through Practical Assignments and open book exam.

Course Fee

This course is Free for all students irrespective of their status, age, background or nationality. However, students are required to pay a token 125 GBP for the production of their course materials and practical kits.
