Course Description

With over 90% of UK businesses using Microsoft Office, the quest for computer appreciation and Internet communication is growing very rapidly to the effect that everybody must be computer and Internet literate to be able to fit into the dynamic nature of the labour market. This course teaches basic computer knowledge with the use of simple computer applications like Word Processing, sending and receiving emails.

Course Objectives

The course aims at making students computer literate and able to use computers and the Internet. Students will be confident in handling computer system for word processing and other functions. In all, students who successfully completed the course will be able to use computer system to type and print documents, write, send and receive emails, browse the Internet for information among others.

Qualification Awarded

Certificate in Computer Appreciation and Internet Communication.

Who Should Attend

The course is suitable for all. It is for anyone and everybody who want to be relevant in this information age. The course is also a great opportunity for individuals who want to work in an office environment or everyone who want to maximize the opportunities in IT and use their personal computers system at home of anywhere irrespective of their background.

Course Duration and taught mode

Four weeks of classroom and practical sessions. Lecture attendance is very flexible as students can choose to attend Morning, afternoon, evening and weekend classes. Assessment shall be made through Practical Assignments and open book exam.

Course Fee

This course is Free for all students irrespective of their status, age, background or nationality. However, students are required to pay a token of 125 GBP for the production of their course materials and practical kits.
